CBD is short for the name Cannabidiol and is a phytocannabinoid discovered in 1940. It is one of at least 113 identified cannabinoids in Industrial Hemp Plants.

However CBD is not psychoactive and completely legal. From birth, we naturally produce endocannabinoids-a compound similar to CBD. Every human and many animals too have a system present in their bodies known as The Endogenous Cannabinoid System.

Hemp Heros products are 100% natural, safe, non-toxic and are of the highest quality.

Answer: YES

CBD is legal in Ireland and we guarantee our products are legal to consume, sell and possess both in the EU and the US. If live outside of the US and Europe please check local laws or contact us for more info.

Most hemp oil or CBD products are sold with much lower levels of THC (less than 0.2%) so most consumers will never have a problem passing a drugs test. All our products meet EU standards and contain (less than 0.2% THC).

That being said in some extremely rare cases if you exceed the recommend daily amount this can cause a failure on drug tests for THC. This result is sometimes referred to as a ‘false positive’ similar to consuming to many poppy seeds which can be bought in any health food store.

Remember, CBD isn’t even being tested for and most work places aren’t going to have a problem with you using it- it’s non-psychoactive.

Answer: NO

CBD won’t get you HIGH as it does not contain the same psychoactive properties. That means it is safe and secure to use CBD, allowing you to harness its benefits while being in complete control.

All our products are sold as food supplements only to help promote everyday well being. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Answer: NO

CBD is categorised as non-addictive a report last year by the World Health Organization declared that CBD is non-addictive, writing, “In humans, CBD exhibits no effects indicative of any abuse or dependence potential” and that “CBD is well-tolerated and safe for human consumption.

When it comes to taking CBD with other medications, we only ever advise one thing- if you are unsure, check with a medical professional before using it as it can, on occasion, interact with other medicines. Always stick to the recommended dose too and if you are taking other meds keep a two hour window between taking CBD and whatever else you take.

According to research conducted by the World Health Organisation CBD is generally well tolerated with a good safety profile’; however, please note:

o    It is at the discretion of parents to give there children CBD products.
